Based in Dubai, UAE, Kamal has spent over two decades pursuing that moment across some of the most demanding and spectacular landscapes on earth. He has stood in silence beneath the aurora in Lapland in the depths of winter. He has navigated the high-altitude plateaus of Ladakh under a relentless dry-season sun. He has watched New England set itself ablaze in autumn colour, wandered the ancient temple towns of Japan as cherry blossoms fell, and felt the raw vastness of New Zealand open up before him. He has chased the moody, mist-laden light of the Pacific Northwest and the turquoise lakes of Banff, Alberta — and most recently, explored the stark, otherworldly beauty of the Palouse in Washington, where rolling wheat fields ripple as a painting comes to life.

What draws him to each of these places is the same thing: the quality of light and what it reveals.

Kamal has exhibited his fine art photography at galleries and art fairs across India, Asia, and Europe, earning recognition for his distinctive eye and his commitment to the craft.
